sleeven testknit

there is nothing more to say:
i loooooove this cardi

another winner pattern by Anke [aka fallmasche]
perfect lines, classy and super stylish

no mods to the pattern, only that i splitted my buttonholes
evenly (was my fault - silly me), but that truly doesn't matter

i definitely will need this in other colours
maybe next time a bit longer, ....with pockets,
....elbow patches, ....

the testing ladies are on their way to test chalkstone and
me, myself and i can hardly wait for my yarn to arrive,
(i will receive this yarn as a gift [YAY!!!], cause i am not able to afford something like that...some of you know already about those problems my ex caused...)
to start a testknit for Joji [btw THANK YOU, Joji!!!!]

in the meanwhile i carry on testknitting this cardi ...
ripped back to the first armhole!!! and restarted from that
point with the updated version of the pattern
i have second thoughts about this pattern and the final fit
of the cardi and i have hard times to stay motivated..time
will come....

have fun

eliada and sleeven

another beautiful summer knit went off my needles last week..
had the pleasure to do a testknit for Svetlana

absolutely in love with this smocked pattern detail.

i did the smallest size of the pattern which gave me
about 1.5 in of negative ease and i think the fit is great
though i love the look of the original with a little ease..

yarn. organic cotton by ICE YARNS
needles. 3.5 mm and 4 mm circulars
pattern. eliada by Svetlana Volkova [aka tweedysheep]

needed a break from my laceweight testknit (twist cardi)
for Judy, cause i had some difficulties in understanding
the necessity of some pattern details and in that fact
i was a bit disappointed with my work on this...
got an pattern update and picked it up yesterday... time will come to see, if it works now

so i took the time to work on a testknit for Anke [aka fallmasche] - another winner, i'm sure!!
topdown construction with a modified version of the contiguous
set-in-sleeve method and what can i say:
looooove this cardi

yarns. Angora2 by midara and a light fingering merino/ acrylic
needles. 3.5 mm circulars and dpns

modeled pics to come, it's blocking right now ;)

have a crafty weekend
